Who Even Are You?!

Hello Roadies! I'm back and this week I'm sharing a fun card I made with Roadies 10. This is a fun, bright card that was made while watching some of my favorite snarky shows in the background and I wanted to capture that vibe with this card.

The sentiments in this set are hilarious and the one I picked is no exception. Perfect for snarky moods and snarky cards! I wanted to let the sentiment be the star and I'm always happy to find a use for patterned paper, so I decided to keep this one simple. I chose three pieces of coordinating patterned paper and a kraft card base. I carefully tore the edges of the patterned paper so they would stack together but show off the previous piece of paper. I adhered each with foam tape, so this card has plenty of layers and interest.

I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock with black ink, matted with pink cardstock that matched the patterned paper, and adhered my sentiment to the background. To finish the card off, I used three pink enamel dots.

This was a fairly simple card to make, but the end result is stunning with a lot of texture. If you're ever struggling with a background, dip into that trusty stash of patterned paper and use it! This would work with a variety of sentiments and needs no coloring or stamped images. You could go the extra mile and make your own coordinating patterned paper with stamps and coloring, but I need excuses to use my stash of patterned paper.
