Clean and Simple Succulent Card Duo

What's up Roadies!?
It's Celia from Paper Beats Rock Designs back to show y'all this super fun card duo I created using the Not a Hugger stamp set along with the Home Office Builder set.
These cards were fairly simple to make yet I love the big impact the repeated backgrounds give. First I arranged my succulents and cacti around my stamping block in different directions.
I knew I wanted to make these side folding landscape cards cards so I started stamping from the top right corner and continued the pattern to the left, then down. I stamped the small succulent from the Home Office Builder set separate so I could fill in the gaps a little easier.
When I had my pattern stamped across the whole right side of the page and over the middle, I was satisfied so I pulled out a bunch of greens and browns from my alcohol markers and colored up the background.
After that I scored the cardstock down the middle on my score board and cut it into 2 cards.
Next, I stamped my sentiments on vellum and another piece of white cardstock.
I mounted black cardstock to the insides of the cards because the alcohol markers had bled through the back and added a diecut rectangle to write my message on. I then stamped and fussy cut out a few more plants to add to the inside.
On one card I mounted my sentiment on a piece of black cardstock and mounted it and another fussy cut cactus on foam tape and added a grey shadow with an alcohol marker to make them stand out a bit more
For my second card, I cut my vellum a smidge longer than the card front and folded and glued it arrived the edges of the card. Lastly, I added a little sparkle to each card with rhinestone and glittered enamel dots.
I'm over the moon with how these cards turned out and can't wait to send them to some friends with green thumbs! If you love this set as much as I do, make sure to pick it up in the Ink Road Shop using the code CELIA10 for 10% off your order.
