What doesn't Kill you ATC's

Hey hey Roadies!
Celia from Paper Beats Rock Designs here to show y'all how I put together this pair of Artist Trading Cards using the "What Doesn't Kill You" stamp set, along with "Boo Crew" and "Bun Intended".
Anyone that knows me knows I love Halloween, and I'm so happy that's we're halfway there already; so I wanted to make a Halloween themed set.
I started off by splattering a scrap piece of white cardstock with red watercolor and letting that dry.
I then grabbed a stencil and sponged Black Soot Distress Oxide through it. On top of that I made splotches of Mowed Grass D.O. and a brown ink from my stash.
Next, I embossed my sentiments onto a dark grey with a light lime green embossing powder. I went around the edges each sentiment with black ink to make them stand out a little more and after that, I grabbed the Boo Crew set, and stamped my lil ghosties. I masked off the mouth of one face, then flipped it, masked it again and stamped the eyes so it was frowning, rather than smiling.
I cut down the paper to 2 cards, and went around each with a dark red dye ink. After that, I wanted to add a bit more texture to the background, so I grabbed Bun Intended and a glittery red embossing powder. I embossed a few of the messy dots around each card, and then stamped a few bullseyes (from a random set from my stash) around each with Fired Brick D.O.
I snagged some gauze from my stash and layered it behind each of the sentiments. Then I diecut a few clouds from vellum and layered them behind my ghosties.
To finish off the cards, I distressed the edges with scissors and inked them once again. Lastly, I mounted each card onto the same dark grey as the sentiments.
I think these cards are so much fun and really can't wait for Halloween to get here! Head on over to the Ink Road Shop and pick up these stamps sets to get spooky with me!
