Thank You Shaker Cards with Rainbow Builder V2
by Celia MorseHey there crafty friends!
Celia from Paper Beats Rock Designs back to share with y'all my process for making these Shaker Cards using the Rainbow Builder V2 stamps along with the Fancy Font Sentiments set.
First I cut down a sheet of vellum to 4⅛x5¼ rectangles and 2 sheets of black cardstock to 4¼x11 to make four cards.
I actually didn't use the rainbow parts of the stamp set for these cards, but the moon, stars, and cloud. I stamped the stars and moon in Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide.
Then I stamped the cloud, which I cut from the hanging stars, in Speckled Egg D.O
I made sure to work fast because I wanted to emboss the images with an iridescent embossing powder. It didn't emboss exactly perfect, but I love the texture it gave them clouds and a moon.
After that I pulled out my sewing machine and sewed the vellum panels to the front of the cards stopping at the third edge so I could fill the card with sequins.
Next, I stamped out my Thank You's from the Fancy Font Sentiments in a blue.
I glued a couple straight to the cards and popped up the others onto foam tape.
I love the way they came out and can't wait to send them out to family and friends.
