Relaxing Pickles

The Live From Snack Time stamp set cracks me up, so I used my favorite sentiment to inspire this card.

I started the background by using the citrus image from This Stamp Is Bananas (retired). To avoid stamping the slice part of the image I selectively colored the parts of the stamp I wanted using markers. Before stamping I spritzed the image with water.

To add some interest to the background I added splashes of color with a paint brush then scribbled around the images using a black pen. 

To finish off the background I stamped and clear heat embossed stamps from BASICS: Collage Elements around the border. 

For the focal image I used this cute girl from Live From Snack Time. I stamped onto bristol smooth cardstock using versafine onyx black ink and clear heat embossed on top. I colored using Arteza real brush pens and blended with water. 

To assemble the card I added a the sentiment (Live From Snack Time) along with a piece of washi tape coming from behind the focal image. 

As a finishing touch I added a cluster of clear sequins around the main image and sentiment. I hope this card makes you smile like it did for me!
