Rainbow Bella Pocket Notes Memory Keeping Page
Hello Roadies,
Nolana here with a tutorial using the Bella Flora stamp set again. I love how versatile this stamp is and I enjoyed using it for memory keeping. I use a 6x8 album for this - and I usually create pages outside of the pocket for storytelling.
I decided to create a rainbow/tropical themed background to start off, using an ombre/multicolour stamp pad, my floral stamp of choice and white cardstock cut to the size 6.875 x 8.25 inches. After stamping the flowers, I used the end of a paintbrush to create dots of each colour from the stamp pad.
Following this, I started working on my pockets. I used my Cricut Design app and love this Pocket template- I measured the size suitable for my page and cut out four pockets on white cardstock.
I used my scorer along the folds, then assembled and glued them together. I press them between two sets of books to keep them flat. I then used the sentiments from the Bella Flora stamp set and stamped on to my pockets, then added multicolour dots to unify the theme. I pulled out my Tiny Dot Clusters and added to the corners of the pockets.
I moved on to my story - I went into Canva and created 4 2.25 x 2.75 inch cards and typed my story on to the cards. I printed them, cut them down and ensured they fit into the pocket. I then used Tiny Dot Clusters and stamped on to the page using coordinating colours with the background. I then looked for tab templates in Cricut Access and had the one I liked best cut on to 3 different pieces of scrap paper from my stash. I glued them to the top of the note cards and slid each card into a pocket.
I then glued two pockets each together and affixed them to the page.
Now on to embellishments. I added some word stickers and a puffy heart sticker to each tab and some nuvo drops on the background. I added some white lace to the base of the front pockets and that's it!
