Hi there, Roadies!

Celia from Paper Beats Rock Designs here to share my process for making these quick cards using the Wavy Stamp along with  You're The Dopest , Cheeky Holiday, and diecuts or punches from your stash.

I wasn't sure what kind of card I wanted to make, because this Wavy background is so versatile! I makes me think of smoke, water, magic, wrapping paper; I was on idea overload! So, instead of trying to make a card with just one theme, I decided to make 2 drastically different cards and grabbed out High Maintainance and Festive as Fuck.

I used my diecutting plate to stamp my Wavy background on 2 card fronts and used 2 different powders to emboss them.

Next, I went to my stash of diecut and punched circles and grabbed out 3 for each card.

To make each layer stand out from one another I decided to heat emboss a circle from each card. I rolled them across my very dirty ink pad...

...then covered the edge in the coordinating embossing powder.

I love the added sparkle it gives. After that I took another circle from each card and inked their edges.

For my You're The Dopest card, I cut the sentiment from the Smoking Girl image and embossed her into vellum with lavender powder.

For my Cheeky Christmas card, I stamped out a candy cane from the set, colored it with alcohol markers, added, details with gel pens, and then fussy cut it out.

I added a bit if dimension using think craft foam between each layer of circles.

To make sure the adhesive wouldn't show though the vellum I used a glue pen just along my smoking girl image.

Then it was time to add sentiments, so I embossed each using the coordinating powder on a step piece of paper and glued them to the card fronts.

Lastly, I added some rhinestones and enamel dots for more sparkle! I love how these cards came out and how different they are from one another even though they are basically exactly the same.
