Purrmaids
by Becca NeeleyHow could you not fall in love with these adorable cat-mermaids?! Today I am combining Purrmaids with Shell Yeah! to create two circle cards.
I wanted to create a radial background, so I used the Gina K wreath builder stencil. All of the small background images are from Shell Yeah!
I cut the backgrounds out with a circle die, so that my finished cards will be a fun shape. I glued small pearls around the design so they followed the circle pattern.
For the focal images I stamped Purrmaids onto bristol smooth with versafine onyx black ink, then heat embossed on top. I colored them with Arteza real brush pens, and added sparkly accents with Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops.
To make the card open I die cut a circle from cardstock, and scored at 1/2" and added strong double sided tape above the score line.
For the front of the cards I die cut a piece of shimmer card stock die to the same size as the card front and adhered them together. This is how it opens.
I glued the orange mermaid to the gold shimmer background, and the purple mermaid to a silver shimmer background.
Here are some up close images so you can see the pearls and sparkle!
