Mother's Day Card Using Sentiment Strips
by Nolana LynchHi Everyone!
I am Nolana and I am happy to be here with you today on the blog to walk you through my process for creating this beautiful and simple Mother's Day Card.
I commenced this process by cutting a card that was approximately 6 x 6 inches.
I then used a layering stencil to create the whimsical heart background with a distress oxide and two stamp inks in complementary colours.
Following this, I used another layering stencil and a distress oxide spray to create the big heart which will serve as the focal point for this card.
Then, while that dried, I stamped the sentiments I wanted to use for my mother's day card and cut out the strips.
Following this, I stamped the same sentiment strips on to the pink heart while still moist to create a semi-faded effect of the sentiments on the heart.
I then used foam stickers to layer the heart, then the sentiment strips and the rose on to the card.
Et Voila!
Hope you like this tutorial. Here's the link to the stamp set used

Hugs and Kisses,
Nolana
