Mondays don't have to suck! Today I am using the Mondays stamp set to create an encouragement card.

I began by creating this background using yellow liquid watercolor mixed with shimmer liquid watercolor. I did a couple of layers, drying in between, to get a nice texture.

 

To make the background more interesting I repeatedly stamped the large image from Mondays using light grey ink. 

I created a border using mint colored washi tape and thin strips of black paper.

For the sentiment (from Mondays) I heat embossed onto light grey cardstock, and added a thin black border. I also used washi tape and cardstock to create banners to place behind the sentiment. 

I arranged the focal elements onto the top left of the card, and popped the sentiment up using craft foam for dimension. 

To complete the card I added a cluster of clear sequins around the sentiment and banners.

For the inside I stamped two more sentiments from Mondays, and added washi tape along the bottom.
