Letter to My 20 Year Old Self - Scrapbook Pageby Nolana Lynch
Nolana here today to share a brief tutorial using the Break Up stamps.
I love creating stamped backgrounds and I loved the sentiments in this stamp set so decided to put together a few of them to create this background.
I began by using stamp inks and distress oxides to create the colours in the background. I used a blending tool to assist with this and the distress spray to add dimension.
Then I used six of my favourite stamps from the set and stamped them on to the background I created.
Following this, I printed off the picture that I wanted to use for this spread, and created some borders using complementary colours from the background. I stacked these using foam stickers and created a pocket behind it to fit my journaling.
I then stacked this with foam stickers on to the background. I created my journaling to be a little smaller than the size of my pocket and typed it out using Microsoft Word. I attached a piece of black and white satin ribbon with my tiny attached and slid it into the pocket and voila!
Hope you enjoyed my tutorial. Let me know if you tried it!
