Hey Roadies! Today I am sharing a full colored background that I did with my Copic markers. Am I insane? yes slightly. Doing backgrounds scare me! Thankfully I have been learning coloring from a great teacher and she has given me courage to even do simple backgrounds such as this one. I used the beautiful Inked Kelly of the Inked Girls and chose a sentiment that made my heart smile.

I embossed this sentiment onto 110lb black cardstock with WOW fine detail embossing powder. I tried not to go over it too much with my heat gun because it tends to crisp at too high of a heat. You have to go nice and slow. I like that there is some powder flecked around my sentiment. Usually I hate it, and I use an anti-static embossing bag, but I decided to keep it. Funny how things grow on you? I used to freak out when this happend! Don't you worry. It's really only YOU freaking out about it.
