Hocus Pocus Halloween Card
by Becca NeeleyMy first Halloween card of the year! I used this super fun Wavy Background along with Full Moon to create a card inspired by one of my favorite movies…Hocus Pocus!
I started by Wavy Background onto bristol smooth card stock in Versafine onyx black ink and clear heat embossing on top.
I used Distress Oxide inks and liquid glitter to watercolor the background, changing color each stripe.
Using the same 3 Distress Oxide inks I stamped this image from Full Moon. After stamping I added several layers of clear heat embossing for a smooth shiny dimensional look. I white heat embossed a sentiment, also from Full Moon, onto a die cut black rectangle.
I added a black border to the background and adhered it to an A2 card base. I added craft foam to the focal point so it would stand up from the background.
As a finishing touch I added clear confetti sequins scattered around the focal point. Look at all the sparkle and shine this card has! It really shows in the sun.
For the inside I stamped another sentiment from Full Moon, and added strips of washi tape in coordinating colors.
BONUS CARD!
I don’t have a tutorial for this card, as it was created last year, but it also uses Full Moon. I still love this card a year later!
