Black Lives Matter Journaling Story
by Nolana LynchHi Roadies!
Today I am sharing a scrapbook story page I created to journal my feelings about Black Lives Matter.
1. I used a Gelli plate print I created and cut it down to the size of my album page - 6.875 x 8.25 and punched the required holes. I then layered with my journaling printed on acetate and created a pocket on top of that using heart design acetate and an alcohol ink acetate strip - which I glued at the base of the page to create a pocket for my placards.
2. I then created placards using white cardstock and some toothpicks. I stamped some of the sentiments on to white cardstock. For the largest placard, I created the background using a layering stencil and distress oxides, and the for the one on the right, I printed a african textile and place 3 x 4 inch journaling on the top of it. I also added journaling to the backs of the other placards.
3. I then placed these inside the pocket to complete the page and placed it into my story album.
