All Sunshine & Rainbows Here

Hey, hey! And welcome back to another crafty day.
I'm bringing another two-fer this week, this time using the Basics: Rainbow Builder Vol 2 as well as a couple comebacks.
Before jumping in, if you love what you see, please be sure to follow my instagram: @Scrapsandink , join the conversation over on Facebook if you haven't already. And use code CAROL10 when you shop, to save 10% on your full order.
Let's gooooo!
Here's the two projects all finished!
First, stamp your rainbow. I decided to use rainbow colors but not in order. I just followed whatever I was feeling called to stamp. I took a picture at every stage, but I won't share every picture because that's a lot...
After stamping the last color -- I used pink, light purple, a pistachio green, and a dark-ish? yellow. I decided the rainbow needed a little grounding. So, I took the cloud, taped off the stars, and stamped just the cloud on either end of the rainbow.
I used the stars in the same Basics: Rainbow Builder Vol 2 set with a brighter yellow. Then used a sentiment from "The One With All the Stamps" set (fun fact, that was my gateway stamp set). I figured, what a better way to celebrate my introduction into the Ink Road than to use the very first stamp set I bought, exactly 4 years later. :)
I heat embossed it in silver.
I cut my panel down a little more, using a stitched die. Then used a splatter stamp to add some splatter in a deep purple. Just to add texture, as well as additional color.
I cut strips of paper from polka dotted patterned paper, glued them flat onto an A2 panel, mounted my rainbow panel with foam tape, and voila!
For card two, I started with cutting my panel down with a stitched border die. Then ink blending a sunset of colors onto it.
Once dried, I picked the clouds and moon from the Basics: Rainbow Builder Vol 2 set, and heat embossed them, also in silver. I also stamped a few stars on the background as well.
For the sentiment, I pulled out the Spork set, again, and just stamped it in plain black ink.
Again, I layered. I did a brown layer, on a light yellow layer, and added everything flat onto a card base.
Ta-da! Do I get my gold star, now?
Thanks so much for sticking with me. Don't forget to join the Roadies on FB, we're fun, there, I swear! :)
