This is Natalie here today, bringing you a collection of rainbow inspired greeting cards I created using multiple stamp sets from The Ink Road, as well as some personalized gift wrap!

I am really loving the unique sentiments in the Ink Road Stamp designs. They’re so quirky and funny. It makes creating original cards super fun, and I believe it makes the recipients appreciate our homemade cards even more!

Concatulations!

Rainbow card made using Ink Road stampsThe first card I created using the oh-so-original Meow Mix stamp set. This card was SO FUN to make!

I set up a rainbow of stamp sets, then I decided which cat faces I preferred and placed them upon the paper. I lined them up on the paper as they would be stamped in order to get them aligned with the other cat faces above or below, and then adhered them to the acrylic block all together. I then inked them in a gradient manner using good old ROYGBIV. I love how uniquely you can create this make-your-own-cat-face stamp set! Boy cats, girl cats, nearsighted cats, gentlemen cats, royal cats—the possibilities are endless!

Happy Birthday!

I used the new Blended stamp set along with the Just a Number set from the first release. I also snitched a couple small hearts from the Full Circle set—a set for which I have some GIANT plans soon!

How perfect are those heart strips though!? I see myself getting TONS of use out of those. I do not have a blended family, but that doesn’t stop me from using this gorgeous stamp set! I used some washi to cover up the word “BONUS” and the stamp was perfect for the card I was making for my mom. And did I mention how amazing the hearts are!?

Unicorn Card

Rainbow card made using Ink Road stampsNext I created a generic card I plan to use for a housewarming gift. I used the fabulous new Majestic AF stamp set, along with a sentiment from the new Compliments – Volume 2.

To create the card background, I plopped some blobs of liquid watercolors at the top of some watercolor paper, then used some water to drip it down the paper. Super duper simple!

I let it dry very well and stamped the images from the Majestic AF and Compliments – Volume 2 in black to contrast the rainbow colors. I also used hearts from Bun Intended!

Wrapping Paper

Rainbow wrapping paper made using Ink Road stampsLast but not least, I have one more fun suggestion for using a variety of your Ink Road stamps—creating customized gift wrapping paper!

I scored this roll of white wrapping paper in the party aisle of my local big box craft store. It was on sale for only $2!

I used a variety of stamps from Blended, Majestic AF, and Just a Number to create a rainbow array on the wrapping paper. Simple. As. Pie! (But really, have you made a pie? I’d beg to differ on the simplicity, but I digress…)

This would be a super fun project to include kids in your crafting. Anyone can stamp simple images in a variety of colors! I believe I will definitely be using this fun little project with my kids at Christmas!

I hope I have inspired you to create some bright happy mail to make someone’s day! Peace, love & rainbows, my friends!
