Hello everyone! It’s Jessica here sharing a fun “Bonus Mom” card using our Blended, Bun Intended and Full Circle stamp sets. She could be your Step Mom, Mother in Law, Favorite Aunt or Mentor – we all know her and I’m sure she would LOVE a handmade card!
I started with the background and stamped the solid circle from the Full Circle stamp set using a light blue ink. Next, I arranged the various patterns and stamped over the light blue circles with navy ink. Once I was happy with the results I trimmed the base down to 4.25 X 5.5 to create an A2 card.
Next, it’s time for a little water coloring! I started with heat embossing the very pretty Bun Intended stamp with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and clear embossing powder. I wanted to also incorporate the tiny hearts from the set and created an emboss resist pattern with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
I used my Spectrum Noir Aqua markers (any water coloring medium would be perfect) to color in the image, it looks complicated but I promise it’s super easy, especially with the embossed lines to keep everything in place.
To finish off the card I stamped the sentiments from the Blended stamp set on vellum paper with white embossing powder and black card stock with white embossing powder. Basically, I’m a little obsessed with heat embossing! For a little shine I added a few signature sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
