It’s Christmas crafting season and I LOVE that Full Circle works for pretty much any theme! I was instantly drawn to the circular patterns and thought they would be perfect for my stitched ornament dies. I chose three coordinating card stock colours and heat set each Full Circle pattern with white embossing powder.

For the sentiment I borrowed “Snow Day” from Fir Real and was able to use the “dreaming” by cutting off “Keep On” from the set. Tip: Don’t be afraid to trim your clear stamps! It’s so much faster than masking and you can always use the stamp as intended by placing them on a clear block beside each other.

I decided to put a little holiday spin on this week’s feature Friday using the Full Circle stamp set. When I saw the sketchy circle, I thought it would make the cutest holiday wreath! I stamped it multiple times in a green ink, to give it a fuller appearance.

Then I used the small “dot” stamp in the set to create mini ornaments for my wreath. I chose colors in red and blue since I am using the PFS December Days collection in my December Daily this year and wanted to keep it coordinating. After I stamped four wreaths, I drew bows on top and “strings” to hang them from the top of my page. I stamped one additional wreath, which I fussy cut out and used a clothespin to attach it to some bakers twine on the bottom of my page.

Today’s cards are featuring the stamp set: Full Circle. I wanted to share how versatile this stamp set can be and provide you with some Christmas card inspiration as well! To create these cards I first created a cut file for my silhouette.

Once cut, I embossed (using various Christmas themed embossing folders from my stash) the main part of the card, then using some white card stock (slightly larger than the triangle ‘tree’) I repeatedly start stamping the circles, interchanging ink colours (the non-traditional kind). I really wanted to highlight the Christmas tree, so I added machine sewing lines before assembling the card together.

As you can see I embellished the tree by heat embossing some of the smaller circle stamps that come in this set, and added a star to the top of the tree. Here is the Christmas tree and card front cut file. Please feel free you use it to create your own circle inspired Christmas tree cards.

Merry Christmas & Happy Crafting…
