Samantha here, back with some more inspiration using Ink Road Stamp set Frond of you (again, I know…but I LOVE this set)!
About a month ago I had to purchase a new shopping list for my fridge (which has a big green and blue leaf on it). So…since then I’ve had this relatively normal list that I see on a daily basis with an awesome colour combo. It’s pretty much the inspiration behind this card!
To create this card I used a ‘rock n roll’ stamping technique and a combination of green, blue, pink and purple ink. I continued stamping until the background was full of these awesome leaves. I love the colour combination – It’s not something I personally would have put together if I didn’t see it daily on my shopping list!
I decided to use a flamingo die from my stash to finish the card off – it matched the card perfectly with the “you are totes adorbs” sentiment which I heat embossed in gold on black card. I then embellished the card with some gold sequins.
Frond of You stamp set is probably my favourite ink road stamp – I’m surprised at how versatile three stamps could be and I love love love the sentiment!
Here is a second card I made – using the same process as above. I changed the layout and decided to play around with the sentiment. I also added the speech bubble from the Call Me Maybe stamp set – to add an additional fun element to this card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and remember inspiration is everywhere!
Have a wonderful day…
