Hello, it’s Jessica here sharing a colorful perfect pattern Father’s Day card. I mixed and matched our Happy Father’s Day stamp, Between the Lines and Distress Oxide Ink blending.
I started by creating the card front and die cut two stitched A2 sized rectangles in water color paper and Kraft card stock. For the watercolor portion, I added splatter using Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers, a water brush and small ink block. I then cut the two pieces in half creating one card front.
Next, using the other half of the water color page, I stamped a trio of patterns from Between the Lines using Versamark Ink and heat set white embossing powder. Then I got inky with Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade. Once I was happy with the blend, I added water activating an oxidized effect. When everything was dry, I placed a stitch circle die in the middle and ran through my die cutting machine. To finish off the main element of the card, I stamped “Happy Birthday” using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and placed in the center of the card front.
I added a second sentiment using black card stock, white embossing powder and 3D Foam Squares. I figured “In a world of 10’s, you’re a solid 11 was perfect from Complements Volume 2. To finish off the card I placed a few coordinating sequins, all that’s left is placing it in the mail!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
